ABOUT THE AUTHOR
NANCY YOSHIDA

Nancy Yoshida is an Occupational Therapist by education having worked many years in Spinal Cord Injury rehabilitation and with Swallowing Disorders. She is married to Glen an Otolaryngologist(ENT).

She had a sled dog kennel for 14 years due initially to her son's interest in mushing. She lives on a 30 acre "hobby farm" in North Dakota with her husband, several cats and a shrinking number of Alaskan Huskies.  Nancy ran the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race in 2009 breaking her sled 8 miles out of Finger Lake. Due to several eye surgeries she closed the kennel in 2010 and began writing about her adventures.
