Nancy Yoshida is an Occupational Therapist by
education having worked many years in Spinal Cord Injury
rehabilitation and with Swallowing Disorders. She is married to
Glen an Otolaryngologist(ENT).
She had a sled dog kennel for 14 years due
initially to her son's interest in mushing. She lives on a 30 acre
"hobby farm" in North Dakota with her husband, several cats and a
shrinking number of Alaskan Huskies. Nancy ran the Iditarod Trail
Sled Dog Race in 2009 breaking her sled 8 miles out of Finger
Lake. Due to several eye surgeries she closed the kennel in 2010
and began writing about her adventures.
